PLC programmer
Programming and commissioning control systems of machines and lines for customers worldwide.
You write the software that actually moves the line. From program structure through visualisation to commissioning at the customer — from Europe through the USA to Japan.
We work with Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500), Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, B&R and Allen-Bradley, and FANUC, Stäubli, Hyundai and KUKA robots.
Responsibilities
- Creating PLC software (Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R, Allen-Bradley)
- HMI / SCADA visualisation
- Integration of robotic cells
- Commissioning machines at customers at home and abroad
What a typical day looks like
- 01
Developing and testing the PLC program in the office or workshop
- 02
Simulation and FAT testing before the line is shipped
- 03
Commissioning and cycle tuning on the customer's shop floor
What we expect from you
- Experience in PLC programming
- Knowledge of industrial buses (Profinet, EtherCAT)
- English or German
- Willingness to travel for service and commissioning assignments
Nice to have
- Robot programming (FANUC, Stäubli, Hyundai, KUKA)
- Safety applications (Profisafe, PL d / SIL 2)
