Series of control cabinets for an assembly line
About the project
For an assembly line at a Slovak customer we designed and manufactured a series of 14 cabinets — both power and control.
Each cabinet passed a FAT test in our Brno workshop, followed by transport and installation directly on the line.
The documentation complies with the standards of the target country including the CE declaration and as-built diagrams.
Brief and challenge
The cabinet series had to be built to a single standard, tested before shipping and installed in a narrow assembly window on the line.
Our solution
- A single design standard in EPLAN P8 for the whole series.
- Parallel manufacturing in the Brno workshop under single project management.
- FAT test of every unit before dispatch — faults are fixed in the workshop, not on the line.
- Transport and installation by our own team including wiring on the line.
